The Aged Care General Practitioner Panel Initiative (ACGPPI) is a national Medicare initiative that was introduced in June 2004. General Practice Alliance South Gippsland has a total of 21 high and low aged care homes and currently has 10 GPs participating in the ACGPPI.  Read more

Home Medicine Review - HMR - Roger Kilpatrick

 

The HMR (also known as DMMR - Domiciliary Medication Management Review) is a consumer-focused, structured and collaborative health care service provided in the community setting, to optimise quality use of medicines and consumer understanding.  It involves the consumer, their general practitioner, their pharmacy, and other relevant members of the health care team. Read more

The GPA South Gippsland Immunisation Program supports General Practitioners and Practice Nurses providing the current Immunisation schedule to children and adults in the General Practice setting.  Most vaccines are funded by the National Immunisation Program, however some are recommended but not funded.
